I’m Julia, a photographer and artist with a background in painting and fine art. I was first drawn to light, composition, and storytelling at an early age, beginning with my mom’s old camera. In 2020, I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from OCAD University in Toronto and then moved to Vancouver, where I discovered my calling in wedding photography.
I began photographing weddings in 2021, and 2026 marks my fifth season. Since then, I’ve focused on refining my craft, working with intention, and creating images that feel honest, elevated, and deeply personal.
I see weddings as living, breathing artwork. My approach is simple: stay present and notice the details that make each wedding feel distinct. I look for subtle connections and small gestures that reveal the heart of the day.
I offer light guidance when needed, but mostly I observe, so your images feel honest, effortless, and true to your day. My goal is to create photographs that feel natural, elevated, and timeless, letting the story of your wedding speak for itself.

Your wedding day is one of the rare times everyone you love is in the same place. My work is guided by the people around you and the connections between them, with you and your guests at the center of everything I document.
My work blends candid storytelling with gentle direction. I step in when needed, but most of the day I stay quietly in the background so things can happen naturally.
Light, landscape, and movement all shape how I photograph.
